It was from this Brother that the Founder of Montgomery Wards was to be descended. They were to go on to much fame & fortune! Moved to Cortland Manor in 1758 according to LI Gen p275

He was married to Penelope Coles (daughter of Joseph Coles and Elizabeth Wright) on 3 Nov 1725 in Westbury, Long Island, NY. Penelope Coles was born about 1705. She died about 1745. Thomas Thorne and Penelope Coles had the following children:
